REFURBISHED DRESSER, 2023. Birch, oak, brass hardware.

This was an antique dresser that I found on Facebook Marketplace in bad shape. It had a broken drawer and was covered in scratches and other disrepair. After taking everything apart, I refinished all pieces, cleaned and refitted joints, and created a new base for it. I also updated the drawer profiles and hardware, and the end result is a timeless dresser that’s ready for another 100 years!

REFURBISHED CABINET, 2023. Oak, brass hardware.

I once again turned to Facebook Marketplace to find a cabinet that would hold all of my lumber in my living room. The piece was in pretty bad shape and needed a lot of patching for nail holes and cracks. I took everything apart and added new plywood panels, while stripping the solid oak pieces of old paint and varnish. The handle is an antique brass knob, and the hinges are solid brass from Brusso Hardware. Another antique updated for modern use!
